Environment
The environmental context in which we operate is continually evolving, driven by higher production capacity, new compliance requirements, improved environmental management systems and a cumulative gathering of intelligence and experience from each year's successful programs.
In past years we have used the Global Reporting
Initiative (GRI) G3 reporting guidelines to inform our environmental
reporting. This year we have built upon this approach and have used the
GRI to guide and broaden our sustainability performance reporting. Our
reporting is self declared as GRI B application level. A copy of our GRI
level check is available here.
The diagram highlights our most material environmental issues. We believe that these will remain the key focus areas for our environmental management for some time to come.
Each year we review these subject areas to ensure that emerging issues are also captured by our reporting and management practices. We also aim for consistency in our disclosure to allow for year on year comparison in performance.
