VTEC staff work with local TAFE and other training organisations to develop courses to teach people the skills needed to fill jobs within Fortescue and with contractors who work with us.

Currently the training courses include:

• Administration;
• Hospitality;
• Metalliferous mining; and
• Building and construction/horticulture.

Training courses at VTEC also include literacy and numeracy lessons, financial management skills, driver training, MDL applications and the Workfella program.
